We worked closely with the client to develop the new designs and integrate them with the existing administration systems as well as building new functionalityinto the system to give them more control over sales and promotions on the website. In addition to the site launch and supporting social media and marketing campaigns, we also developed a programme of ongoing search engine optimisation for Sporting Kicks.
Since the site relaunch in May 2015, Sporting Kicks has seen a 38% increase in page views, along with a 9% increase in conversions.
The style developed for the new website uses the existing company logo and the key colours associated with the brand, but brings them to life in a new way that creates a friendly and easy to navigate shopping journey for customers.
New button styles and icons help to guide users through their purchase and a redesigned checkout process creates a straightforward buying experience.
The new website was built on the Bootstrap framework which is ideal for responsive websites. Integration of a WordPress blog for the news section of the website provides Sporting Kicks with a simple way to keep their customers up to date with footie news and website promotions.
To provide customers with quick routes to purchase, SagePay, PayPal and Facebook Connect have all been integrated into the new version of the website.
