Wait... hold on. Firstly, what are MyISAM and InnoDB? MyISAM and InnoDB are the two commonly used MySQL engines for database tables. MyISAM is the default database engine for new tables created in MySQL 4 and 5. So, why would I want to use one over the other? Good question.
